Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of music do you compose?

I create music for films, television, art projects and personal projects. My film work includes scores for movies like "The Water Man" on Netflix. My personal compositions sit somewhere between classical and electronic - think Ryuichi Sakamoto or Jóhann Jóhannsson territory.

Where are you based?

Brussels, Belgium. But I work with directors and projects worldwide. I'm also willing to travel for projects that require in-person collaboration or specific recording needs.

How do you approach film scoring?

Every project starts with understanding the director's vision. I'm not there to impose my musical ideas, but to find the right sounds that serve the story. Sometimes that means stepping back, sometimes it means taking risks.

Do you work remotely with directors?

Most of the time, yes. I've scored Hollywood projects from my studio in Brussels using video calls and file sharing. But I'm happy to travel when a project benefits from being in the same room - whether that's for initial meetings, recording sessions, or final mixing.

What's your musical background?

Classical training mixed with a love for electronic music and sound design. I'm always exploring the space between acoustic and synthetic sounds.

Are you available for new projects?

It depends on timing and the project. For US projects, you can contact my agent Andrew Zack at Gorfaine Schwartz. For other territories, feel free to reach out directly through the contact page.

Do you only work on feature films?

Not at all. I'm open to documentaries, short films, series, and other projects where music can enhance storytelling.

What do you need to get started on a project?

Usually a rough cut or detailed treatment, plus a conversation about your vision for the music. We can do this remotely or in person if the project warrants it. From there we discuss timeline, budget, and approach. The Water Man’s first ideas was written from script.

Do you work with other musicians?

When the project calls for it, yes. I have relationships with great players and can arrange for live recording sessions when needed - whether that's in Brussels, LA, or wherever the project takes us.

How do I contact you for US projects?
