GENERAL OBSERvation of human behaviour
RELEASE One
Composer Peter Baert's "General Observation of Human Behaviour," stands as a poignant reflection on the ceaseless repetition inherent in the human experience. Through this composition, Baert delves into the enigmatic labyrinth of our flawed existence, where individuals unwittingly perpetuate their own traps, insecurities, and daily routines.
THE ANTHROPHIC PRINCIPLE
RELEASE two
The Anthropic Principle for solo cello
Duration : approx. 8 min.
Why does the universe possess the precise physical constants necessary for conscious life to exist? The fundamental forces—gravity, electromagnetism, nuclear forces—are calibrated with impossible precision. Change any value slightly, and stars wouldn’t form, atoms couldn’t bond, we wouldn’t be here.
This is the Anthropic Principle: we observe a universe capable of producing observers.
