The fundamental forces—gravity, electromagnetism, nuclear forces—are calibrated with impossible precision. Change any value slightly, and stars wouldn’t form, atoms couldn’t bond, we wouldn’t be here.

This is the Anthropic Principle: we observe a universe capable of producing observers.
